I stood at the waters edge
Watching the waves fall
A sensuous lover
Embracing most boldly
The silent rocks
Who one day will speak
Thanking the sea
Who will weep
At the beauty of the moment
And I
I stood at the waters edge
I let the sea talk to me
It told of love
It held my soul
I breathed
And the memory
Washed over me
